Corrugated sidewall conveyor belting is used in conveyor systems for transporting a wide variety of bulk materials such as coal, sand, limestone, and other industrial materials. It is ideal for applications where materials need to be conveyed at steep inclines, or where space constraints require a compact conveying solution.
The structure of corrugated sidewall conveyor belting consists of a base belt, corrugated sidewalls, and cleats that are attached to the sidewalls. The corrugated sidewalls are attached to the base belt by hot vulcanization, and the cleats are also attached using the same process. The cleats help to keep the material being conveyed from slipping back down the inclined surface.
Some commonly used standards include DIN 22102, GB/T9770, AS1333, etc.
